Wedding and Reception Information
Bill and Renee Mikell Here at Rosewood we strive to make your event as magical and memorable as possible. A price list for our food and services can be requested via email. A consultation is included in our prices. We will create a plan to make your event run as smoothly as possible. You will find no hidden extra charges here at Rosewood. We provide everything you need for a beautiful event. We include so many details with the venue rental; you need very few extras to host a wonderful event.
Cake • Rosewood has a fifty guest minimum.

• We can accommodate up to 250 guests for an outdoor ceremony
and up to 200 for an indoor ceremony in the ballroom/chapel
area.

• Rosewood has a plentiful, lighted parking area.

• Rosewood does not allow outside catering. Catering service is provided complete with custom made cakes in a variety of flavors.

• We offer the convenience of hosting the rehearsal dinners here at Rosewood. A rehearsal dinner is traditionally the groom’s night. We can create a themed event to match his personality. Pricing can be requested via email.

• A wedding director ensures that your event will go smoothly and is required here at Rosewood regardless of the size of the wedding party. Our director helps with planning your ceremony, selection of music, and your program arrangement. One hour of rehearsal and pre-ceremony time in addition to the ceremony time is included in her price.
Invitation • Smoking is prohibited at Rosewood except for a designated smoking area outside. This policy is strictly adhered to. Your damage deposit could be forfeited if this policy is violated.

• Our cake cutting service is offered at no additional charge to you. We also have toasting flutes and silver cake knives available for your use at no charge.

• Fresh flower petals are approved for throwing and bubbles look beautiful in pictures. Sparklers have to be pre-approved according to the weather. (no birdseed, rice, silly string, etc.)
• Our in-house sound system is available to play the CD’s of your choice during your event. There are speakers located in each room. We also have a sound system located on the grounds outdoors. You can set the mood of your ceremony the moment your guests walk onto the grounds of Rosewood. (Our system is not compatible with D.J. or band sound systems)

• You may arrive up to three hours before ceremony time for photographs. (extra time can be arranged if necessary)

• We offer the convenience of floral design here at Rosewood. After booking your event, we will arrange a meeting with our floral designer, Tracy Sloan. All floral payments are to be made directly to Ms. Sloan.

• Photography and D.J. services are not provided by Rosewood. We will happily recommend vendors to accommodate your needs in these areas and can coordinate these services for you if needed. Our recommended vendors do a wonderful job with very reasonable prices.
Tent • We can provide an officiate if you have need of one.

• We are an indoor/outdoor facility, we have a 30x60 ft pole tent that seats 200 guests for a ceremony that is included in the venue rental. Tenting is a very elegant look for your event. Pole draping for center pole and exterior poles are included. We also include 6 beautiful chandeliers in the venue rental fee. Other tent lighting is available for an additional charge. There is a $150.00 set up fee required for the tent.

• We have a 12x12 dance floor that is available for rental.

• A non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 is required at the time of booking your event. Half of your balance is due 3 months before your date. The remainder of your balance must be paid 3 weeks prior to your event. A payment schedule can be set up for your convenience. Final payment later than 3 weeks before your event, will be subject to an additional charge of 5%, to be received before your event can take place.

• A refundable damage deposit of $500.00 is also required at the time of booking your event. Any additional charges for surprise guests will be deducted from this deposit before the refund is given. This will be refunded within 14 days of your event if no damage to property here at Rosewood occurs.
Rosewood We serve Southern style food here at Rosewood and are open to suggestions for your menu. If there is a particular item that you would like to serve, please let us know and we will price it appropriately for you.
